1.

Locate and unsolder one side of capacitor C16 next to tansistor TR-3. (side opposite TR-3 removed.)

Locate and unsolder one side of Sitar C89 close to the TA7310P IC (IC2). (side opposite pin 4 of IC2)

3.

Solder a short jumper wire to the loose ends of C89 and C16. Solder the expanders white wire to this jumper wire.

4.

Solder the expanders green wire into the hole where C39 was removed.

5.

Solder the expanders red wire to the +13.8 VDC at the on-off switch.

6.

Solder the expanders black wire to circuit board ground.

7.

Solder a 1K resistor in series with a 22pf disc. capacitor and solder this across the ceramic filter FT-2 (R17 to R18 side). Disregard the 100 pf capacitor included with the kit.
