1. Remove the covers from the unit and the PLL covers. 2. Locate
the MSM 5807 PLL chip and cut around Point B as shown, and soldera
3300ohm resistor across the cut. 4. Wire the switch as shown in Figure B to the corresponding points shown in Figure A. 5. The switch can now be used in the high position on channels 40 to 59 by selecting 11 through 27 on the dial. The low position will yield frequencies below 26.955MHz by selecting channels 27 down on the dial. |
