1.

Locate and unsolder one end of capacitor C77 near the TA7310P mixer (IC2). Unsolder the leg opposite pin 4 of the TA7310P IC having the end sticking up from the circuit board.

Next locate and unsolder one leg of capacitor C13 near TR-3. Unsolder the leg opposite TR-3 and leave it sticking up from the board as in step 1.

Solder a short jumper wire from the open end of C77 to the open end of C13.

Solder the expanders White wee to one end of the jumper wire in step 3.

5.

Solder the expanders Green wire into the previous hole of C77 at the TA7310P mixer IC.

6.

Solder the expanders Red wire to the +13.8 VDC at the on-off switch.

7.

Solder the Black wire to circuit board ground.

8.

Solder the small 100 pf capacitor (enclosed) from the input terminal of filter FL-1 to the output terminal of FL-1. If a squealing noise is encountered on receive, solder a 1k resistor in series with a 22 pf capacitor, and solder this across the FL-1 filter. (leave off the 100 pf capacitor above)
