1.	Remove the covers from the unit and locate capacitor C204, close to the LC7131 PLL chip. Unsolder the leg of C204 away from pin 12 of the PLL chip. This is the side connected to coil L204.
2.	Leaving C204 connected to the PLL chip, solder the expanders Green wire to the free end of C204.
3.	Solder the expanders White wire to coil L204, where resistor R302, and capacitor C111, are connected.
4.	Solder the 100 pf capacitor (included in kit from the three pin side if coil L103, to the three pin side of L104. Solder the capacitor from the outside pin (3 pin side) to the same outside pin of L104. If you are not sure which pin to use, listen for the loudest receive noise while moving the capacitor around.
5.	Solder the expanders Red wire to the switched +13.8 VDC at the ON/OFF switch.
6.	Solder the expanders Black wire to circuit board ground.

* Power on the unit and tune to channel 10 on the selector. While flipping the expanders selector from high to low, tune coils L104, and L105, for best receive on both sides of the switch. Tune for the best compromised position on both sides of the switch. Also tune coils L304, L305, and L306, for best transmit power in both positions.
