Texas Star Skeleton 220 CW Transmitter To AMP Conversion
1. | Remove the black wire of the oscillator board from CW keying jack |
2. | Remove and discard black wire of keying jack from bare ground wire |
3. |
Remove red wire of oscillator board from red LED lead |
4. | Remove the green wire of oscillator board and the attached 33pf cap |
5. | Solder the leg of the 15/18pf cap to bare wire of radio SO239 connector |
6. | Remove yellow 2200K cap from teflon wire of input transformer |
7. | Unsolder the 56pf cap from teflon wire and also from ground tab |
8. | Solder the teflon wire to junction of the 200ohm resistor and 180pf cap |
9. | Solder lead of 56pf cap to the teflon wire on small relay from transformer |
10. | Solder other lead of 56pf cap to bare ground wire from antenna connector |
11. | Unsolder oscillator board from input transformer |
